3月10日，日本歌手工藤靜香發行了她第二張向中島美雪致敬的翻唱專輯，「青之炎」（青い炎）。為了宣傳唱片，她也很積極上了很多音樂節目。發行首周，即打入日本公信排行榜的第23位。
無獨有偶，同週排名第22位的，是中島美雪去年底發行的精選集「在這裡喔」（ここにいるよ）。該精選集自推出至今，已經連續在榜15週了，累計銷收量超過11萬張。現在每週還有1、2000千張的銷售量，感覺還會繼續長賣下去。
另外，日本男歌手宮本浩次去年11月發行的翻唱專輯「ROMANCE」，曾拿下公信榜冠軍，現在也還在榜，目前是第18位。這張專輯也翻唱了中島美雪的「化粧」一曲。
