第37屆金曲獎公佈入圍名單，宣佈特別貢獻獎將頒發給老牌填詞人林煌坤和已故音樂人屠穎，另資深女創作人陳小霞也獲得評審團獎。
林煌坤自1970年代起就開始創作歌詞，無數大牌歌手都唱過他寫的歌，作品橫跨電影、電視和唱片工業。根據本站資料，他曾為兩首「中島美雪翻唱歌」填詞，分別是鳳飛飛的「想家」和羅佩芝的「青春行」。
屠穎是90年代代表性編曲家，曾為無數華語金曲操刀。然而他在去年底驟逝，震驚音樂圈。他也曾為兩首翻唱歌編過曲，分別是本多RuRu的「美麗心情」和劉若英的「原來你也在這裡」。
獲得評審團獎的陳小霞則是華語圈著名的女性創作人，寫過金曲無數，獲得至高評價，不少人將她在華語樂壇的地位與中島美雪相比。不過陳小霞主要是為他人作嫁，自己只出過4張專輯，原因可能是早期唱片公司對創作歌手出唱片較無信心，且當時女性創作歌手更是罕見。
The 37th Golden Melody Awards announced its nominees recently. The Special Contribution Award will be given to veteran lyricist Huang-kun Lin (林煌坤) and deceased musician Max Tu (屠穎). The Jury Award will be given to veteran female singer-songwriter Salsa Chen (陳小霞).
Huang-kun Lin began writing lyrics in the 1970s. Numerous top singers have sung his songs. His works span film, TV, and music industry. He used to wrote lyrics for 2 covers originally sung by Miyuki Nakajima, the one from Fei-fei Feng and the one from Doris Law.
Max Tu was a represnetive arranger in the 1990s. His sudden passing at the end of last year shocked the whole music industry. He also used to arranged music for 2 covers, the one from RuRu Honda and the one from Rene Liu.
Salsa Chen is the leading and well-acclaimed female song writer in the Chinese pop industry. Many people compare her with Miyuki Nakajima. However, Chen mainly write songs for others, and released only 4 albums herself. This may be because in the early days the record company had less confidence in singer-songwriters releasing albums, and female singer-songwriters were even rare at that time.
