據媒體報導，日本知名劇作家唐十郎於5月4日辭世，享壽84歲。
唐十郎身兼劇作家、劇場導演、演員、大學教授等多重身份。他是日本「小劇場運動」的主要領導人物，並培養無數知名演員。他曾獲得日本政府表揚，其著作也獲得芥川賞肯定。
唐十郎在1980年代曾為NHK的三部特別劇來編劇，分別是「安寿子の靴」（安壽子的鞋）、「匂いガラス」（氣味玻璃）和「雨月の使者 」（雨月使者），他也寫了這三部劇的主題曲歌詞，中島美雪則負責譜曲及演唱。為了配合唐十郎獨特的作詞風格，中島美雪譜曲時也頗費心思。
當時這些歌曲是按照唐十郎的要求來錄音的，後來中島美雪在專輯「時代-Time goes around-」（1993年）和「おとぎばなし-Fairy Ring-」（2002年）中收錄了自己的版本。香港歌手楊采妮曾把「雨月の使者 」翻唱為粵語歌「不會哭於你面前」和國語歌「不小心的真心話」。
還有1995年的日本電影「海ほおずき」（海鬼燈），導演是林海象，唐十郎身兼編劇和主演。這是一部以發生在台灣的「井口真理子命案」為背景的懸疑電影，唐十郎飾演調查「真理子」失蹤案件的偵探，女主角則是台灣歌手兼演員「堂娜」。該片主題曲「眠らないで」由中島美雪演唱，堂娜將這首歌曲翻唱為「愛你是我最美的傷」。
According to reports, famous Japanese playwriter Juro Kara (唐十郎) died on May 4 2024, at the age of 84.
Juro Kara is a playwriter, theather director, actor, and univiersity professor. He is the main leader of the "Little Theatre Movement", and has trained many well-known actors. He has been commanded by the Japanese goverment. His work is also awarded by the Akutagawa Prize.
In the 1980s, he was the screen writer for the 3 special dramas produced by NHK, i.e., "Yasuko's Shoes", "Fragrant Glass", and "The Messenger of Ugetsu". He also wrote lyrics for the theme songs. Miyuki Nakajima was the composer and singer of these songs. In order to match Kara's unique writing style, Nakajima put a lot of thoughts into composing the music.
The recording of the theme songs were based on Kara's request. In her albums "時代-Time goes around-" (1993) and "おとぎばなし-Fairy Ring-" (2002), Nakajima included her own versions. Hong Kong singer Charlie Yeung (楊采妮) covered the song "The Messenger of Ugetsu" into Cantonese and Mandarin.
In addition, the 1995 Japanese film "The Breath" (海ほおずき) was directed by Kaizo Hayashi (林海象). Juro Kara was the screenwriter and the main actor. The film is based on a murder case in Taiwan. Kara's role in this film is a detective who is invesating the case. The leading actress is played by Taiwanse singer/actress Na Tang (坣娜). The theme song of the film is sung by Miyuki Nakajima. Na Tang also coverd this song into Mandarin.
