日本流行音樂天后濱崎步將會翻唱中島美雪的名曲「時代」，此曲將作為日劇「萬博的太陽」的主題曲，該劇是朝日電視台開台65週年的特別劇。
該劇女主角是橋本環奈，劇情描述1970年大阪舉辦「日本萬國博覽會」時，女性追求夢想的故事。
濱崎步表示，因為認同該劇，所以答應唱主題曲。中島美雪的「時代」是一首偉大的名曲，她會和她的音樂團隊盡全力完成。
該劇預計在3月24日播出，播放完的隔天，濱崎步演唱的主題曲也會做數位發行。
Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎あゆみ), the J-pop diva, will cover the song "Time goes around / 時代", a song from Miyuki Nakajima. The song will be the theme song of the TV drama "The sun of Banpaku" (万博の太陽), a special drama for the 65th anniversary of the TV Asahi .
The leading actress of the drama is Kanna Hashimoto (橋本環奈). The drama depicts the story of a women pursuing her dream during the "Japan World Exposition Osaka 1970" (Banpaku).
Hamasaki agreed to sing for the drama because she sympathized with the story. And the song "Time goes around" is a great masterpiece. She and her staff will do their best to complete this song.
The drama will be broadcast on March 24. And the digital release of the theme song will be on March 25.
