日本天后濱崎步去年（2025年）年底照例在日本東京舉行跨年演唱會。這次演唱會的開場曲她選擇唱中島美雪的「時代」，這是她為日劇「萬博的太陽」特別翻唱的主題曲。
濱崎步在去年依舊創下許多紀錄，包括睽違17年的香港演唱會，以及首次在新加坡開唱。在台北的演唱會也創下一分鐘內門票售罄的紀錄，另外北京演唱會的入場人數也超過一萬人。
不過之後在上海和澳門的演唱會卻因為中日外交衝突而被迫取消，她特別在上海的舞台拆除之前，率領全體人員全妝上台，完成無觀眾的演出，被視為是對強權的無聲抗議。在這次的跨年演唱會中，她也播放了一段在上海的無觀眾演出。
同時她也宣佈今年的巡迴演唱會將會在4月8日開跑。
Japanese pop diva Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎あゆみ) just finished her annual countdown concert in Tokyo. She opened the concert by singing the song "Time goes around / 時代" from Miyuki Nakajima, the song she covered for the Japanese TV drama "The sun of Banpaku" (万博の太陽).
Hamasaki made many records last year, including her 1st concert in Hong Kong in 17 years, and her 1st concert in Singapore. Her concert in Taipei sold out within a minute, and her concert in Beijing attracted more than 10,000 audiences.
However, her concerts in Shanghai and Macao were canceled due to the diplomatic conflict between China and Japan. Before the Shanghai stage was dismantled, she led her entire crew, fully made up, to perform on the stage without an audience. This is regarded as a silent protest against authoritarianism. One clip of the Shanghai performance was played during the countdown concert.
She also announced that this year's concert tour will begin on April 8.
