人在日本的他，目前在日本的行程已全部取消。他原訂於5日參加NHK的音樂節目，並演唱中島美雪的歌曲「化粧」，也臨時宣佈取消演出。
Korean singer Kim Jae-jung announced on April 1 that he was infected with COVID-19. However, the next day he denied that and said that it was just an April fool's joke. His misbehavior has aroused many criticism from the public.
Currently he is in Japan and his schedule in Japan is completely cancelled. He was supposed to appear on NHK's music show on April 5 and perform the song "Makeup", a song from Miyuki Nakajima. But his performance is removed by the show now.
