匯集了許多日本大牌歌手的「FNS歌謠祭」於12月3日播出了第一夜的內容，工藤靜香亦應邀演出。她和雙人組合「無限開關」（スキマスイッチ）一起演唱了中島美雪在1978年推出的傑作「化粧」。這首歌雖然沒有發行單曲，卻因為豐沛的情感，受到了許多人的喜愛。
隨後，工藤靜香還和出身自「乃木坂46」的生田繪梨花合唱了她早期的暢銷歌曲「Mugo・ん…色っぽい」（無言性感），這首歌亦是由中島美雪負責作詞。
另外流行天后濱崎步的出場也受到矚目。她先前在上海的演唱會因為中日外交衝突而受到波及，被迫臨時取消。今次她在「FNS歌謠祭」則是以華麗服裝造型引起觀眾驚嘆。

FNS Music Festival (FNS歌謡祭) is a music show featuring many famous Japanese singers. The 1st night of the show aired on December 3rd. Shizuka Kudo (工藤静香) was invited to join this show. She sang the song "Makeup / 化粧" with the singing duo "Sukima Switch" (スキマスイッチ) , a song from Miyuki Nakajima released in 1978. Although the song has never been released as a single, it's still loved by many people because of its rich emotion.
Later, she sang her early hit "Mugon... Iroppoi / Mugo・ん…色っぽい" with Erika Ikuta (生田絵梨花), a former member of the idol group "Nogizaka46" (乃木坂46). The lyrics of the song is also written by Nakajima.
In addition, Jpop diva Ayumi Hamasaki (浜崎あゆみ) also appeared in this event. Recently, her concert in Shanghai was cancelled duo to the diplomatic conflict between China and Japan. In this year's FNS Music Festival, she amazed the audience with her glamorous costume.
The 2nd night of FNS Music Festival is scheduled to air on the evening of December 10th.
